This route takes you from the Zugersee to the Wolserholz Forest up north. It is a short circular route, primarily on fast gravel roads, with minimal elevation throughout the course. Perfect for riders who are just getting into gravel. Experienced riders can add loops in the Wolserholz Forest to make it a bit tougher.
We start the route by rolling out of Cham, following the picturesque Lorze river until Rumentikon. After a short climb reaching a Platou leaving Rumentikon, you will be presented with views across the Reuss River until Lindenberg.
Continue in Wolserholz Forest after Maschwanden, which presents the only significant Climb. Turning back to the south Within the forest and following the Haselbach river. Riding through a variety of farmland with plenty of open vistas towards the south. On the way back, the route goes through Stadtlerwald before just north of Cham. Bomb down from Schluecht before joining the cycling path on the lakeside for the final few miles to Zug.
