This easy and short route offers a wonderful way to immerse yourself in nature, with beautiful views and many attractions along the way. Perfect route for those who just starting out adventuring out! Start your journey by taking Bus Number 603 to Schonegg check the timetable here. Don't forget to get a separate bike ticket and ensure there's enough room for your bikes.

Your ride begins at Schonegg Station. Once ready, head south from the square and follow the gravel road into the forest. Immediately, you'll cross the Brunnenbach stream over a bridge, and on your left, you'll spot a charming waterfall. As you continue, enjoy the breathtaking lake view that emerges through the trees.

For those wanting a longer ride, continue towards Walchwil. This extension adds over 100 meters of elevation on well-maintained gravel roads. See the route details here.

Turning right, the road slopes downhill towards the Klinik. In this section, you'll find two more stations of the WaldParcours, featuring a giant sling that's sure to delight everyone. Upon reaching Oberwil bei Zug at the Klinik, you'll find a mini-golf course and a bistro, perfect for a relaxing break.

Continuing downhill, you have two options: head towards Zug or descend to the lakeside and stop at the Badi. Heading towards Zug involves a small climb, but once you conquer it, you can freely roll into the old town. 

As you enter Zug, keep an eye on the little ones as traffic increases. Follow the bike lane into the old town, passing by the Zuger Voilere before arriving at Neustadt. End your tour with delicious ice cream from Speck by the Boat Station on the lakeside, or let the kids burn off some energy at the playground just at Rigiplatz.
