This delightful cycling route starts at the picturesque Lake Zug and follows the tranquil Lorze River to the enchanting Höllgrotten Caves in Baar. Shaded by trees, this path remains pleasant even on the sunniest days.

Starting from the lakeside at Brüggli, The path is primarily asphalt, with a stretch of well-maintained gravel in the middle. The gentle incline from the lake to Höllgrotten is easy to manage, making it perfect for families. Shortly after leaving the lake behind, you'll come across the Oberau playground, a great spot for a quick break.

You must cross the main road in Baar, which requires some caution. From this point, the route follows the main road, so stay attentive. Fortunately, the traffic here is generally light.

Halfway along the route, you’ll find the Robi Playground (do check their limited hours at Robi Baar). As you approach Baar, a bit of caution is needed when crossing the main road, and again as the route follows it. However, traffic is generally light.

Don’t miss the new viewing platform Schlaufensteg (Learn more here: https://www.schlaufensteg.ch/) just after Baar Spinnerei.

Throughout the ride, there are plenty of spots to rest by the river, cool off, or enjoy a picnic at one of the many fireplaces.
